Put your vocabulary skills to the test with Moredle, the unique take on the popular Wordle. Unlike traditional Wordle which limits you to 5-letter words, Moredle lets you guess words of any length between 4 and 8 letters long, giving you the opportunity to truly test your linguistic abilities with the increased difficulty of not knowing the length of the unknown word.

Two Play Modes to Choose From

• Infinite mode:  hone your word-guessing skills with unlimited games and helpful statistics for improving and analyzing your games.
• Daily mode: compete against other Moredle players on the daily resetting leaderboard. Each day, a new word is generated, and it's up to you to make the fewest number of attempts to guess it to claim your spot at the top.

Update Log

v1.3: game now auto-scrolls when words get too low for screen  Pressing escape now returns you back to the main menu. Cleaned up code and released it on github

v1.2: fixed a bug with saving previously entered words in daily mode where the lines from the previous day would appear if it had more guesses than the current day.

v1.1: fixed bugs with daily mode saving and keyboard coloring. Added additional info to help panel about daily leaderboard. Added better support for different aspect ratios, especially on mobile web browsers. Added more celebratory phrases for winning.

How To Play

Web (Recommended):

1. Scroll up to the game.
2. Click Play.
   

Note: On mobile devices, the web version only works on Safari. This is a limitation of the tool used to build the game. The web version is best experienced on a computer.
