Arbitrary Actions is a short platformer game made in 2 days for the 2022 GMTK Game Jam following the theme: 'Roll Of The Dice.'

How Does Arbitrary Actions Follow The Theme?

Arbitrary Actions makes the player a dice, and as a twist, randomly selects movement keys every time the player plays a level, which could be interpreted as choosing keybinds based on the 'roll of the dice.' The color schemes of the levels are also randomized, and could be thought of as chosen by the 'roll of the dice.'

Arbitrary Actions has 6 levels, as a die has 6 faces, and each of them follows a minimalistic art style, increasing in difficulty. I may have made the difficulty curve a bit steep as I was rushing level design to finish on time, but all levels are possible.

This is a really cool game. The controls being so random was a great touch to the gameplay.
